The Borea BR02 bookshelf speakers are the most compact speakers of the range. It fits easily on a dedicated stand (S02/S04), your bookshelf, or most other furniture. A perfect introduction to the world of hi-fi, this small speaker will surprise you by the immersion and sound amplitude it provides. **Q: Has anyone a/bed these speakers against the audioengine a5+ which i find to be very good?**
A: Yes

**Q: Are the bro 2 better than the elac b5.2 or b6.2, are they worth the extra money?**
A: Yes.  Way more complete tuning (no frequencies are dominant or lacking) and better sound stage while still maintaining excellent imaging.  More refined, but not boring.  I got these on sale over a month ago and just set them up yesterday, I'm blown away.  Pretty easy to drive to the point of too loud (while still not distorting).  Better than my elac b5.2, b6.2, unifi ub52, as well as my kef 100 and 150s, and many others. Actually the closest thing to it under $500 are my c-notes mt from parts express that I put together myself.

**Q: The two look different - is this a subwoofer and one speaker? So not full stereo + a subwoofer (which i'd expect to be 3-pieces)**
A: Bro 3 has a bigger midwoofer @ 6 inches but the ports are in front compared to BRo2 wich has a 5 inch midwoofer and a port in the back. Both use the same 1 inch silk dome tweeter

Excellent for small room, connected to marantz 6006 amp delivering very good warm sound but with a lot of details. Let this speakers to burnt out for a while and most of listeners will be happy. Don't expect deep bass. But for a small room good enough.

I wont go into to much detail, but imagine this, Music, Gaming and TV that's sound 100% better than any sound bar under £1000. The mids are crisp and precise, the bass drop to 51Hz, very deep for a speaker of this size, and the overall sound stage feels big. Centre image is perfect and the off access sound is outstanding. I doesn't matter where your sitting, these awesome little speakers sound incredible in any room you have and you can be walking around and not hear any difference in the sound. I have two sets of these speakers they are that good. You can sit right next to them or be 12 feet away. I makes no difference at all, and they dont care what electronics you pair the to. These were valued at £499.99 last year, if you pay less than that now, its a bargain. I cant recommend these enough, there better than the bigger version the BRO3 everywhere except bass. Highly recommended 👌

I am using the BR02 on a small room - desk situation and I am loving it 100%.Running from toslink from Mac mini to Denon pma600ne (yep not the small for a desk set up) with pad under the BR02, and quite close to the back wall (for bass increase and lack of space)After a run of about 2 week (over 100hr) the sound stabilise and it is neutral - detailed but not on the cold side of neutrality (I can hardly explain that Triangle sound signature - check ZeosPantera on YouTube)The build for the price is very hight and feels premium and feet greatly my desk amp..Sound stage is impressive for the price and size of the cabinet (thanks denon for the clean signal and power)Well I could go on and on, I can only recommend them for small room or desk. Try to have a listen if you can.
