It is good for them and also makes their food more enjoyable. Actually, I am guessing at the enjoyable part but have noticed that when this is left out, that their food tends to last longer in the tray. (Meaning that they d not eat as much.) So, I am thinking that they eat more when this is in there because they seem to like it. Who knows, but that is what we see. But the "good for them" is a given. Comes in a very fully packed resealable bag. We generally mix the full bag in a large can of 25lbs of feed.
