The heavy duty water container! 33% thicker walls than the standard water container increases puncture resistance and durability. 50% more drop strength than a standard water container. The heavy duty spigot and vent cap allow it to be stored on its side. Tested to stack 4 high. 5.5 gallons. BPA free.

Review: Good Product With Some Minor Work - Ordered five of these. As other reviewers have stated the seams are bad and need to be trimmed to prevent leaking if the cans are ever on their side. I trimmed them up, rinsed them out, and filled them just less than half full and laid them on their sides. Out of five, two spouts leaked. I checked them and the O-ring had slid up the spout a bit. I pressed them back flat into place and re-secured the spouts. No leaks. I then turned the cans so the vents were on bottom and only one leaked. The vent hole was drilled too close to the edge where trimming the seam was not enough to stop it from leaking. I tore a small piece of plastic from a Wal-Mart shopping bag, folded it over a couple times and draped it over the vent, then tightened the vent cap over it to hold it in place. It worked and the vent does not leak now. Overall, I am pleased with the product. I knew the seams would be an issue before I purchased and it all worked out. Kudos to previous reviewers that pointed this out.

**Q: which valve/spigot will fit?  I ordered this one but it was too large.  "Reliance Products Replacement Spigot Assembly for Reliance Water Containers"**
A: I ordered another spigot and it did not fit was to big.  A shame because the included spout does not allow for a smooth pour.  I loose about a gallon of water when trying to pour from this beast.  The 2.5 gal is better.  It would be nice if there was a spout that allowed for a smooth transfer from the 7 to the 2.5 gal.  best of luck.  Dave - from the water contamination capital of charleston wv.  WV American Water sucks.

**Q: I just received mine today. I don't see any way to completely close the lid so that water will not splash out during transport?**
A: Just invert the spout down into the container, put the solid plastic piece over that and then the screw on lid.

**Q: Does this come with the spigot, or a spout? The desciption says spigot, but the picture is of a spout??**
A: It comes with just a spout, not a spigot. You can cap the spout with the included cap, and then for actual transport, you take the spout off and it stores upside-down inside the mouth. It all works pretty well, but no, no spigot is provided.

**Q: Good for drinking water?**
A: I used it to transfer water to my Travel Trailer while "Dry" camping.  The water was ultimately used for drinking.  So, Yes.  I don't know about long term.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tough, durable, and can take punishment!

We've used these Rhino-Pak jugs for 5 years and they are by far the most durable water containers we have found. We've tried several other makes and they don't stand up to our demands. Here's how we use them: We have a remote Alaskan cabin. We must haul all of our drinking water. In the summer, that means by boat. In the winter, its by snow machine (snow mobile for lower 48'ers). The containers are abused and beat-up. They are repeatedly frozen and thawed. These are the only jugs we've found that will stand that treatment intact. We've not lost one yet. The issue of minor leaks due to excess molding plastic is possible, but the solution is simple and quick (a little trimming with a sharp blade). Also, because we allow them to freeze, we do not fill them more than 85-90%. They stack well and handle well. At least 4.5 stars, we can recommend them.
