Only issue is cutting to correct length. Used saw with fine blade and placed cut end at end of door rather than at open end to "hide" cut end. **Q: will this work on a framed shower door that 1/2" thick with the frame?** A: It worked for me. The hardest part was cutting to correct length. I used hand saw with very fine blade with easy strokes. Cut so that cut end in at door frame. DaveR **Q: will this work with a 9/16" frame?** A: It shouldn’t be a problem. It snugs to the door, and you want it tight. Do they make a 9/16 one..if not this should work.
