Many people describe these as being a midway point between 'thane wheels and pneumatics, and they're right. These roll over rough pavement much more easily than conventional wheels, although they don't go over really nasty non-smooth surfaces (e.g., broken/destroyed pavement) with the reliability of air tires. They're also capable of doing off-roading in a kludge, although these are definitely street wheels. All-in-all I prefer these to air tires for riding on pavement because they make the ride feel smooth and safe like air tires, but with a lower and more responsive ride. I also only loose about 15-20% off my range (relative to ABECs), while I typically loose 30+% with pneumatics. On really smooth pavement I still prefer small urethane wheels (e.g., kegels), but I'm almost always running into nasty enough pavement (or unsure what I'll run into), and so I find that I put these on my board very often because they are so versatile. I still like my thane wheels and pneumatics (for off-roading), but if I could only own one set of wheels, I'd pick these. Review: The wheels are truly amazing - The wheels were amazing… but I never use them because they discovered Cloudwheels made 135 mm wheels that I wanted so I sent them back ## Features - Diameter 120mm Polyurethane(PU) all terrain off road electric skateboard longboard wheels,it can go anywhere you want, mud grass rock concrete, you named it. - Patented Damping Foam Core Technology - The Cloud Wheel with the damping foam core filters out most of the vibrations than the regular wheel. - Curved wheel and unique tread - The curved tread design makes the skateboard effectively increase the grip and anti-skid force of the wheel in the case of high-speed sliding. - Better wheel core - Cloudwheel Discovery has thicker spokes of wheel core, which different from original ABEC wheel core. It is made of a high-strength composite material for better impact resistance. - Mounts on Many Eboards and Longboards (With IWonder special pulley kit)- IWonder,Evolve, backfire,Slick,Boosted,Exway,Ownboard and many more boards. Less foot fatigue and rolls over rocks much easier. The added height helped in parking lots to clear speed bumps without issue.
