One is for the RS port. The other for remote on\off..Older versions will not work.. So if you plan on buying this make sure you have the LED display ones with 2 ports... **Q: is the bt-2 bluetooth module and the dcc50s 12v 50a dc-dc on-board battery charger with mppt compatible?** A: No. It connects but never populates any data. This is a known issue on forums as well. See my review. **Q: is this compatible with android 5S (samsung galaxy note 5)?** A: It works to my Android phones. Some useful information but data from Renogy controllers are not calibrated very well and can fluxuate too much. Compare to volt meter to get accurate data! **Q: Will this work with 24 volt systems** A: You do not connect the BT-2 directly to 24 volts, it doesn't work that way, you need a compatible charge controller. The BT-2 Bluetooth Module uses an RS485 communications interface, typically at 3 or 5 volt signal levels. Your charge controller voltage can be 12, 24, 48 or whatever it is designed to work with but it will have an internal 3 or 5 volt logic circuit to measure the appropriate parameters and then send information to the BT-2.
