Assuming that they are only used on paper. If you want them to cut material only cut material. **Q: Does this have pointed tip for precision, intricate details cutting or has it been changed to a blunt tip like one reviewer says?** A: The tip on these scissors are NOT pointed but rather slightly rounded and flat. If the tip was pressed against your finger tip, it would take a considerable amount of pressure to cause an injury. **Q: Is this product safe to wash by hand and/or in the dishwasher? Will it rust if left in a drying rack to air dry? Thank you!** A: I do not have a dishwasher, so I can’t answer for it. I normally was them by hand. I have left them to dry in the drain in an open position, but normally go ahead and dry them and I’ve had no problem with rust. I don’t have to wash them much; I have other scissors in the kitchen to use for messy cutting. ## Frequently Bought Together - Scotch 6" Precision Scissors, Great for Everyday Use (1446) - Fiskars All Purpose Scissors, High Performance Cutting, Stainless Steel Blades, Ergonomic and Comfort Handles, Perfect for Arts and Crafts and the Office, Scissors for Office - Westcott 5" Micro-Tip Fabric Scissors with Titanium-Bonded Blades - Ideal for Crafting, Sewing, and More --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/20650057-6-precision-scissors-great-for-everyday-use](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/20650057-6-precision-scissors-great-for-everyday-use) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-22*
