It sounds great, has some really good tones, and is easy to adjust. The scooped mid switch is awesome, too. But the pedal is noisy. The hiss is real. I wondered if there was something wrong with my cables, or any of the other pedals I use. All of the pedals I use introduce some noise, but it's really quite aggressive on this joyo fuzz pedal. I feel the need to mention the plastic housing. Yes, it's plastic. But you would probably be surprised if you really stood back and took stock of what plastics do every day. You would have to abuse this to break it. It's made of solid, modern plastic. The plastic in this pedal is going to be around LONG after you are. The pedal sounds great, and I can overcome some of the noise with a noise gate. But you should be aware that there is a good bit of noise coming from this pedal.
