The style of roasting is good for espresso as made in Italy (which is not always the same as in many US specialty coffee shops)--medium roast, for a cup with some more sweetness and mellowness (less sour). The beans I ordered had been roasted 4.5 months before my order. I would like to see this product sold with some kind of guideline or guarantee about how old the beans are that will be shipped to you. This would make it easier for me to order with confidence and compare the good price here to what it costs to get from my local specialty roasters.
