I had debated whether to get a large infuser pitcher that could be prepared the night before that would provide my water for the day, or this smaller water bottle which I'd have to refill every 24 ounces. I ultimately feel that this was the best way for me to go as I've already used this at work and while traveling and it worked out beautifully. It comes apart completely so it's easy to get really clean, and it fits in my cup holder in my car. The fruit basket being screwed in to the bottom of the bottle is very nice since it stays in contact with the water longer. It's not a huge fruit basket, but I can fit a half a lemon and several blueberries in it easily. I use the same fruit all day and refill my bottle several times a day. My favorite fruit combos are lemon/blueberry and cucumber/mint. The flavor comes through the best after it sits for an hour or so, if you can wait that long. The opening can accommodate a straw, which is great for regular lemon water drinkers, but it would need to be a long one to reach through the opening. Pretty sturdy plastic. Smooth threading. He LOVES it! He's taken it to school nearly every day since he got it and tried different combination of fruits and fresh herbs like mint and lemongrass.
