My 3 lb bag was over 75% crushed and my bird won’t eat! I’m so mad 😡** A: Same thing happened to me, I was pissed cause these balls are so expensive, I started getting the 20 lb box instead of the 3 lb. bag and only about 15% was crushed. I freeze them or refrigerate the balance and it stays fresh and the price is only about $6 a pound. **Q: Why does this have peanuts? What do you do about the aflatoxins? Do you test your product for them?** A: Yes it has peanuts. They stand 100% their product!! In the many years of being in business I have never heard of a toxic reaction. Of course you'll have the haters but they are far and few between!!! My best suggestion is call them at 800-842-6445 and they can best answer your question and put your mind at rest!! Also Dr. LaFeber has been around since the 70s making pellets and created Nutriberries in 1990!!! **Q: Approximately how many nutri-berries does a 3 lbs contain?** A: I don't know an exact amount but I have been giving my Cockatoo one a day since the package arrived about a month ago.....and now I just counted 30 left in the bag. Every day I put 1 in a little dixie cup then flatten the top opening and fold over the top corners.......Crystal loves them She spends time ripping open the cup and then eating the treasure she finds inside....great for foraging! **Q: can you feed these to budgies?** A: The Nutri-Berries are probably a little to large for a Budgies to hold but should not have any problem eating from food bowl.
