## Description

This double album contains every studio recording from the band's first session in May 1949 to the session of September 1955. The 50 digitally re-mastered tracks include two alternative takes and two other tracks never previously released on LP or CD.

Review: Trad Jazz - I bought an EP with four of these tracks in 1950. They sound even better on CD.
Review: A Bit of Real Jazz - When I began to learn to play traditional jazz fourty years ago I was loaned a vinyl copy of a firehouse five recording. It was pure magic then and of course it still is now though much more pleasant to listen to on c.d. format.
