Just follow the instructions. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good, but only in deeper water *by B***N on November 25, 2016* I've had a hot tub (outside) for 10+ years and it's common for dirt, leaves, etc. to get in the water (and usually sink to the bottom). Before buying this product, I used a manual (syringe-type) device to literally suck / vacuum out the dirt in the tub. When that device broke, I bought the Aura and have used it several times. I generally like it, but it does have limitations: Pros: very easy to use and works well when submerged to the bottom of the hot tub (at least 3 feet under). The deeper the water, the stronger the suction. I like that I don't have to clean the filter each time I use it and that the dirt/ grit is protected from falling back into the tub after sucking it out once. Cons: the device ONLY works when properly submerged (creating the pressure needed for the suction to work). So, if you have to clean areas of the tub that are pretty shallow (on steps of seating areas of the tub that are 1-2 feet deep or less, or when you've drained the tub and need to get the last bit of dirt at the bottom when there's very little water left), don't bother using this device as shallow water does not create enough pressure to create suction. My solution which allows me to continue to use the tool: I push the grit to the deepest portion of the tub and then vacuum out using this tool.
