It smartly disposes of heaps of leafy yard waste in a few simple steps, turning hundreds of gallons of rotting leaves into vitamin-rich, organic mulch that's a perfect fertilizer for your flowerbed or garden. The WORX Flex-a-Line bladeless mulching system uses normal, heavy-duty grass trimmer line instead of dangerous metal blades to easily and safely mulch through leaves and debris. A Lean, Green, Mulching Machine Shredding leaves with a traditional gas shredder/mulcher can disturb the environment with noxious air and loud noise. Thankfully, with the electric WORX Leaf Mulcher, you can put the 'green' back in 'green thumb'. Showcasing a powerful 13 Amp motor that delivers 8,500 RPMs, the WORX Leaf Mulcher will reduce a mass of dead leaves and twigs to 1/11th of its original size. That means you won't be lugging 11 bags of whole leaves to the curb for distribution or disposal--instead, you'll only have to worry about a single bag. With the WORX Leaf Mulcher's 13-inch cut diameter and oversized mouth, you can mulch up to 53 gallons of leaves per minute. Acres of dried leaves can be collected and pulverized into manageable mounds of mulch in practically no time at all. Create Mulch and Compost It is estimated that almost 25% of the urban waste stream is made of yard waste and debris. In the fall, it can account for more than 60% of what flows into your local landfill. The WORX Leaf Mulcher actually transforms your yard's dead leaves and debris, which would normally end up in a landfill, into vitamin-rich mulch and compost that can be recycled into your garden or flowerbeds. Shredded leaf mass furnishes nutrients that assist in new plant growth during the growing season. Furthermore, mixing mulch into your garden and flower beds will aerate the soil and encourage new growth. Additionally, leaf mulch will increase water retention in the soil, reducing watering time and saving money. Compact, Versatile, and Easy to Use At less than 20 pounds, the WORX Leaf Mulcher features a compact design, in which the disassembled parts nest neatly together for convenient off-season storage on a shelf in your shed or garage. Setup takes only a few minutes, with absolutely no additional tools required! In addition, the mulcher features a dust-reducing clean-air motor cooling system. Air and mulched leaves are separated through an external cooling air intake and exhaust to significantly reduce dust generation. For further convenience, The WORX Leaf Mulcher's safe Flex-a-Line bladeless mulching system features tool-less cutting line replacement and a universal bag holder that accepts both paper and plastic bags. To top it off, an oversized on/off switch allows for easy, hassle-free operation. The WORX heavy-duty Leaf Mulcher is the one machine that will end hours of misery once and for all and will make fall cleanup fast and easy! What's in the Box WORX WG430 Leaf Mulcher, 24 replacement lines, and one universal bag holder. Tool-free locking system enables easy assembly and storage. Review: WORX lives up to it's reputation again!!! - I owned a prior hand held leaf collection and mulching system from WORX. I loved it, but it was heavy for me to lug around. When I saw this stationary version, I ordered immediately and gave the old system to my brother. I LOVE THIS NEW PRODUCT!!! So much easier on the back and arms since you do not need to carry this and hold it while it is mulching. It makes fast work of mulching huge quantities of leaves into reusable mulching materials. Highly recommend this item to anyone that needs to deal with leaves this fall and winter. Review: Pretty Good - It works pretty good. It keeps up with me. I think the 11 to 1 ratio is a stretch unless you normally fluff up your leaves when you put them in the bag. Depending on the leaves I would say 6-8 to 1 ratio is more realistic. Even that's pretty good. The filter for the motor cooling air is not such a good setup. If you don't keep it clean I could see the motor failing early. Pay attention to the extension cord you use. 13 amps is a lot. Choking that down could kill a motor also. ## Features - [KIT INCLUDES] WORX Electric Leaf Mulcher and 24-Pack 13" Replacement Line - [MULCHES 53 GALLONS/MIN] That’s right, the 13.0 Amp motor mulches up to 53 Gallons of leaves per minute - [RIGHT INTO THE BAG] Disposes of leaves and debris into a bag you can attach beneath (bag not included) - [11:1 MULCH RATIO] That’s 11 bags chopped down into 1, all due to the innovative blade-less Flex-a-Line mulching system - [LINE PRECUT TO THE PERFECT LENGTH] Save yourself the hassle of cutting the line yourself, these are ready to go right out of the package - [24-PACK] So you won’t need more line for a while ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Best Sellers Rank | #376,434 in Patio, Lawn & Garden ( See Top 100 in Patio, Lawn & Garden ) #190 in Wood Chippers, Shredders, & Mulchers | | Customer Reviews | 4.3 out of 5 stars 64 Reviews | ## Images ![WORX WG430 13 Amp Foldable Bladeless Electric Leaf Mulcher w/Flex-A-Line 24-Pack 13" Replacement Line - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51DXZYrjriL.jpg) ![WORX WG430 13 Amp Foldable Bladeless Electric Leaf Mulcher w/Flex-A-Line 24-Pack 13" Replacement Line - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51tbmqpR+BL.jpg) ![WORX WG430 13 Amp Foldable Bladeless Electric Leaf Mulcher w/Flex-A-Line 24-Pack 13" Replacement Line - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71pkiHlS4KL.jpg) ![WORX WG430 13 Amp Foldable Bladeless Electric Leaf Mulcher w/Flex-A-Line 24-Pack 13" Replacement Line - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81JZXBC5KvL.jpg) ![WORX WG430 13 Amp Foldable Bladeless Electric Leaf Mulcher w/Flex-A-Line 24-Pack 13" Replacement Line - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71-WuLuluGL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Style** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ WORX lives up to it's reputation again!!! *by A***. on November 29, 2020* I owned a prior hand held leaf collection and mulching system from WORX.
