How high is the top shelf from the bottom shelf? Could a plasma cutter fit in that bottom shelf?** A: Top shelf will fit a Hobart or Lincoln 140 mcig welder with an inch to spare in the front.Bottom will welding accessories but unless you put the plasma cutter on its side, I doubt it will fit. **Q: Where is the welding cart manufactured?** A: I would guess China. Its an extremely cheap piece of crap. **Q: Can anyone tell me what size gas bottle fits this cart?** A: A couple of sizes. Ask the folks at Airgas or your supplier. As for the quality of the cart it’s good. I’m a hobbyist restoring a few sports cars and it’s great. I'd give it 5 stars if it wasn't for the fact that to make this thing actually sturdy, one must drill out the provided holes, throw out the provided sheet metal screws, and replace them with 1/4 inch bolts(not included). I LOVE my Hobart welder; it worked perfectly out of the box without any tinkering(and I hadn't welded in over 10 years before I got this), so I thought the Hobart cart would be of equal quality. It would absolutely be, if only they would ditch the crappy sheet metal screws and provide bolts instead. So, if you're like me, and have a stash of nuts, bolts, and washers waiting for a project, then absolutely buy this cart, it's sturdy and does the job.
