This tint varies, with the generally more expensive ones being less yellow looking. These have very little yellow tint.Both blue light and cheater glasses come in three categories, the really cheap dollar store version, the medium (about 3 or 4 dollars a pair) and the higher end versions, at 20 dollars and up. The higher end versions tend to have metal frames, spring hinges and higher quality lenses (made from plastic with a higher index of refraction, so they can be thinner). All have a place in my life. I have several high end pairs for working at the computer for hours at a time. It is worth paying the extra price for comfort and clarity of the lens. I have many of the middle priced ones laying around the house so I can always find one when I need to read something and I have some of the dollar store versions stored in my car and everywhere else, where I do not care if I lose them. I take these into restaurants to read the menus, and do not care if I forget them.There is some data that says that looking at screens which emit blue light interrupts one’s circadian rhythm, making getting a good nights sleep more difficult. I have read the literature, and am not completely convinced, but these are cheap enough that giving them a try is worth it if you have sleep issues or eye strain from screens.These are of the higher quality type of blue light glasses.
