(capacity is limited by vehicle suspension, tires and transmission. See vehicle owner's manual.) Review: At 62,000 miles one of the orginial air shocks was leaking. These shocks are a perfect replacement. They are not the shock with embedded electronics, just the self-leveling air shock on the 'base' suspension of a Cadillac. The top is a little larger than the stock shock, but they do not hit anything. The air connector/nipple is an exact fit. I jacked up one side, put a barrel jack under the suspension to 'unload' the shock. The top nut is in the trunk, under the 'carpet', with a rubber cover that pulls off. There are two bolts on the bottom. Very easy to remove and reinstall. The air line unclips. At this price, they are much, much less than stock shock price. The top mount is an elaborate rubber mount, and these do NOT come with a this replacement. But mine seemed in almost perfect shape and did not need replacement. I think this rubber mount can be bought for about $25 (each?) if yours has been deformed. The ride seems about the same as stock. Some comments on a replacement shock say it is much more stiff, but I feel these are about the same as stock. Ac Delco stopped making the shocks and sells rebranded Gabriel hijacker with the Ac Delco sticker. They call and sell them as Oem but they are not they have screw on connectors and in addition 25 vs 15 psi minimum pressure. They require and include a spring which will cause the factory system to do this. **Q: are those air rides shocks** A: Yes, they are air ride shocks. They are a perfect replacement for the original factory rear shocks on my 2002 Buick Lesabre. Took maybe 45 minutes to replace the pair. Even the factory air line fitting fit the shocks perfectly.
