One of them didn't work. That aside, here is my thoughts on it. I've used HPS lights for over 30 years, ranging from 1000 watt down to 400 watt, but I've never used a 150 watt. I really like the amount of heat it puts out. I have these in a west facing room with a lot of exposure and they don't significantly add to the temperature. I also like the reflection from the hood. These lamps are for a small grow. One will cover about 24"x24". The ballasts are pretty quiet with no humming. I don't really have any complaints about it. I've only been using them for a month so I can't vouch for their durability. But for the price I think it's worth it. I hope this one lasts as long and is as dependable as my old one. Bought this to add just a little more light in my tent. Its bright and my babies are loving it. Discreet packaging. Which was a big deal for me. Considering the ups guy delivers to my work also. It seems a little lighter weight than the older one. I love the 150s because they're easy on the electricity bill. Barely noticeable. They put off enough light and with 3 in my 4x4x7 tent I can keep it at about 75°f and they're cool to the touch with clip fans on them. And I have the same if not better yields than my buddy with a 600w in the same size tent.
