Review: Awesome!!! - My son is 10yr old and talked about this thing everday until Christmas morning when it came down the chimney! This toy is pretty Awesome. It's what you would call one of those cool toys that everyone on the block wants. My husband seemed to really get a kick out of it. It does everything they say it does. It looks a bit like a large insect to me...Lol. (you'll see what I mean when you get it). My son even makes it dance! I'm just glad it works and has an extra battery pack. The batteries were included which is a plus and the frustration-free packaging was just as awesome as the toy itself. Santa thanks you desertcart :)
Review: Great fun, but hard to control. - The Hot Wheels R/C Terrain Twister is a really fun product as long as you are not that bothered about what direction it is heading. It works very well on rough surfaces (grass, gravel, etc) but not very well on smooth surfaces (concrete, tarmac etc) unless you want it to go sideways. Like: It is a lot of fun, moves very quickly and my children (8 & 10) love it. Dislike: Almost impossible to steer in the direction you want. Even so: I would recommend this as a fun toy in wide open grassy spaces.

**Q: what is the difference between the one that comes with a battery pack system and the one that doesnt**
A: The difference is it doesn't come with a battery system. You would have to purchase one separately.

**Q: if I buy two of them will one control both vehicles? I have two boys and would like to buy them each their own vehicle, but I do not want**
A: They may have different frequencies available, you would have to check with the manufacturer, often different colors they will give diff frequencies for that exact reason.

**Q: I bought this toy and it does not work at all after charging the battery for 5 1/2 hours**
A: Send it back you may have a defective one i bought one and my son loves it the only thing is charging time to playing time ratio isnt good you vharge it for 4 hours and get to play for 30 mins

**Q: Can this be driven on the road or concrete also**
A: The car can be driven on a hard surface like a driveway or sidewalk, but it is hard to make it go straight on those surfaces. It works better on grass. It is supposed to work on snow also, but we haven't had a chance to try that out yet.

The product works as advertised. I dont know about the battery quality as my son havent had a chance to play it that often but two things that surprised me: 1. it is faster than i thought. 2. it is much bigger than expected Otherwise, it is a really a fun toy and i found myself playing it on my front lawn and reluctantly handed the remote control to my son. I havent tried it on surfaces other than grass but on grass it works perfectly. Good job Mattel!!! I would give it a solid 5 stars if the size is a bit smaller so it will be easier to carry it around.
