I did not know that and in my ignorance would have taken it if I’d had the option. Sequoia is ok but not great, Apple is clearly losing its way but I can live with Sequoia. I upgraded to an 18.5 100hz display which looks a little better than the 17.3 I had on it and has the additional advantage of needing only a single USB-C cable to deliver video and power. The changeover was as simple as unplugging one and plugging in the other and then powering it all up. I’m sharing the keyboard and mouse from an M2 iPad though that connection seems to break if the Mini is put to sleep and wakes up. I can slide the mouse off the right side of the iPad display and it appears on the Mini. The keyboard follows the mouse so I need only one of each on my desktop. I would def buy a new Mini if not for all the Tahoe issues but it’s difficult-to-impossible to downgrade Tahoe back to Sequoia due entirely to Apple. Original: Upgraded from Catalina to Sequoia right off via Starlink connection - the first attempt failed checksum, second attempt succeeded, so that’s 32gig off my data plan. Synced with my other devices no problem. Using a $50 portable monitor and ancient wired kbd & mouse. The unit connected easily to my wifi network and setup was smooth. This is my first Mac and I like it.
