I didn't measure the thickness with a ruler, but it seems like it will be sufficient to do its job. The holes are perfect on both sides, so, maybe it was lazer or water cut. I The graphics are cool, although I must admit I'm not sure what it's supposed to be.So far, I'm pleased with it. If anything changes, I will update my review. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Keeps chain on sprocket & pants out of chain *by M***N on November 19, 2024* The only thing tricky was figuring out the front sprocket mounts on the inboard side of the crank & this chain retainer mounts on the outboard side. But it mounted easily & works as expected so far. ### ⭐ Doesn't fit *by F***F on January 23, 2025* For the correct type of sprocket it probably works well. However description does not say you need a sprocket with holes about 0.342 inches to accept the bolts (Maybe larger) and spacers between sprocket and guard. My sprocket had only small screw holes that attached plastic covers with spacers on both sides of sprocket but no spacers on sprocket itself.
