I bought it for my gym bag - I bought the Black Canvas 19" Shoulder Duffle Bag in March of 2016. I've had it for over a year and it is a great bag! I bought it for my gym bag, and it has worked out really well. I wanted something that wasn't overly large, simple, logo free, not made out of plastic-y material (those kind don't last, and will eventually start cracking & flaking), and most importantly, not something I would have to be precious about. I literally toss my bag in my car, on the floor, whatever & wherever. I keep a regular gym schedule of 6 days a week, and am constantly repacking it with whatever clothes I am going to be wearing that day; I get a lot of use out of my bag. It can hold a couple pairs of shorts or pants and shirts, a couple pair of shoes, socks, and other small accessories. In general I don't have it stuffed that full, so I usually have more than ample room left over in the bag. I haven't had any issues with the zippers or stitching. The material is good, not flimsy and thin. The only issue I have had (and this is the only one), are the clips used for the shoulder strap. If I'm wearing a sweater that has a knitted texture to it, the clips can snag if I'm not careful while carrying the bag via the shoulder strap. I usually, now that I've learned my lesson, watch out for that and will purposely use the hand straps instead. This is only with items that I'm wearing that have a knitted texture, everything else is fine. I'm considering going and buying a different shoulder strap, one that has different clips. All in all, it is a great bag. Dependable. Perfect size for me. Review: Love it! - This is my go to bag for yoga. I swapped out my worn out year old polyester bag for this 100% cotton one, which will probably outlast the old bag by decades. It holds two blocks with space left over for additional layers, a strap, makeup bag, hand wipes, phone, keys, etc. The quality is comparable to military gear made generations ago (& I am 62). ## Features - All-in-One Storage: Main compartment and exterior zipper pocket provides ample storage space for travel accessories, clothing, outdoor gear, and everyday carry essentials; equipped with a two-way zipper closure for quick, full access to your gear - Carry Options: The canvas duffle bag features a removable and adjustable shoulder strap and dual web carry handles for a comfortable carry; the grab handle at the end provides quick and easy handling for when you are on the go - Multiple Sizes Available: 15 inch x 8 inch (12 Liter Capacity) / 17 inch x 9 inch (14 Liter Capacity) / 19 inch x 9 inch (20 Liter Capacity) / 24 inch x 12 inch (44 Liter Capacity) – Select Colors and Sizes - Action & Adventure Ready: Whether you’re out traveling, camping in the woods, or working out in the gym, the canvas shoulder bag ensures your possessions are safe and secure - Top Grade Canvas: Made from Rothco’s durable heavyweight canvas fabric, this superior material is naturally water-resistant, rugged, and is built for the long haul, allowing the travel shoulder bag to withstand outdoor adventures or frequent trips ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00HHJMRJO | | Best Sellers Rank | #26,092 in Clothing, Shoes & Jewelry ( See Top 100 in Clothing, Shoes & Jewelry ) #44 in Travel Duffel Bags | | Brand Name | Rothco | | Capacity | 20 liters | | Closure Type | Zipper | | Color | Olive Drab | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 2,895 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00613902224193 | | Handle Type | Web Handle | | Included Components | Shoulder Bag | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 19"L x 9"W x 9"H | | Item Type Name | Luggage- Carry-On Luggage | | Item Weight | 1.4 pounds | | Manufacturer | Rothco | | Manufacturer Part Number | 613902224193 | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | no warranty | | Material Type | Cotton | | Model Name | Duffle Bag | | Model Number | 2241 | | Number of Compartments | 1 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Recommended Uses For Product | Travel, Gym/Sports, Overnight/Weekend Trips, Everyday Use | | Size | 19 Inches | | Strap Type | Adjustable | | Style Name | Classic | | UPC | 613902224193 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Water Resistance Level | Not Water Resistant | ## Images ![Rothco Heavy-Duty Canvas Shoulder Duffle Bag - Rugged Travel Gym Gear Equipment Bag - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71N3vnUjy-L.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Is this too big for a gym bag?** A: It is the perfect size for a gym bag.
