Review: Happy hens - I love this bedding for my hens and so do they keeps them lovely warm and dry.They love it in there nest box and bed and is a great for using in the entire coop.It smells lovely and is nice and soft it absorbs moisture and drys out very quickly.It leaves cleaning up there droppings easy as it sticks to them and makes it easy to be picked up.I have a hen who constantly sneezes when I use wood shavings hay or stray and I have no problems with this product at all.Using this product I know my hens are clean dry and warm and the value for money is great.With other products I have to clean my girls out weekly even when picking up droppings everyday.But with Dengie it’s every two weeks and if you pick up the droppings and give Dengie a rake through it still smells as lovely and fresh just like when you first open the package.This is a great product and will keep your hens happy and save you time with only having to use one product for the nest box, bed and flooring.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is it for both packs, if not what do you get, ad is a bit misleading.**
A: The ad is misleading. Also this is really expensive for 100 litres. I pay £12 at Mole Country Stores or Scats.

**Q: Where do you put this bedding.. in the nesting boxes?**
A: I put plenty in the nest boxes to make it appealing as a nest! It seems to work, I also put a layer on the bottom of the coop (not the run) to soak up liquid from the poop and this makes it easy to clean out on a daily basis. Hope this helps..

**Q: Why is product photo of a cat flea collar?**
A: No idea, it’s only changed over the last day or so. If you buy from PagesPoultry, rest assured it will be fresh bed you get.

**Q: Would this be suitable for rabbits? I'm thinking to go in their bed/nesting areas? I put fresh straw in there daily, but could this go under?**
A: I don't know for sure, but I think it might not be suitable.  It smells quite pine-y (some disinfectant additive), which is pleasant, and my hens don't mind it.  But rabbits' noses might be too sensitive.  Something odour-neutral like hemp might be better.

The moment it goes down, the whole place smells divine, like a spa for hens. Even the humans say, “Wow, that smells nice,” every time they open the coop. It keeps everything clean, dry, and fresh for ages. No pongy corners, no grumpy clucks. It’s soft on our feet and perfect for nesting, scratching, and our midday gossip sessions. Our humans now buy it regularly and won’t use anything else. We did have one delivery hiccup once, but it got sorted quickly and professionally, no ruffled feathers here!
