**Q: Where was it manufactured?**
A: the sleeve it's packed in says Czech Republic

**Q: Has anyone had any luck sharpening this knife? Mine came very dull and I've tried using a 2-stage knife sharpener to no avail.**
A: I’ve been able to sharpen it on a 10cm Opinel sharpening stone.

**Q: If i had to use it for protection would it work?**
A: I would get a better knife for protection but it could poke an eye out.

**Q: Does this have a locking mechanism?**
A: it is a wonderful knife., but no lock. Just a little folding fish knife.
