It makes a medium sound same as a ceiling fan and basically it has on metal wall that coducts cold from the mini fan in the back and it barely BARELY cools ur stuff ... The metal wall gets cold but it doesn't transport the coldness to ur drink that well **Q: Can this cool down a small milk container? it's for coffee in my office and I don't want it to go bad.** A: It does not cool down things well.
