Flushmate Original Part BU100505-K Upper supply kit for all series | BU100504-K | BU100503-K Upper Supply, For Use with All 2-Piece Toilet Configurations, Includes Upper Supply Assembly, O-Ring, Hose Clamp Restrictions Note: Flushmate system is not sold as a retrofit component for a gravity-fed toilet. Flushmate System Pressurized flush eliminates double flush and clogs and saves water. Fewer moving parts extends service life. 1ATR2 is designed to replace any previous generation of Flushmate series, including 500, 501, 501-A, and 501-B (except American Standard fixtures). 2VRN8 is designed to replace series 500, 501, 501A, and 501B in American Standard tank number 4086. Include tank-to-bowl gasket. Flush cartridge, upper supply, and lower supply are replacement parts for all Flushmate systems. This upper supply may sit higher than the upper supply used on the 200, 500, and 501-A series. However, if the porcelain tank lid is resting on the upper supply, it may need to be shimmed up on the opposite side to level it out. Another option is to get a new Flushmate system. Flushmate vessels and components do not retrofit into gravity type toilets. They are only used with Flushmate-equipped toilets.

Review: Perfect match for the original - Perfect match and installation on my toilet. This part did NOT fix the problem, but that wasn't the fault of the part. If you're having trouble, check your tank itself for pinhole leaks. With some soapy water, I found a tiny, tiny bubbling leak near the top of the tank that was slowly leaking out all the pressurized air. So over a couple days, the toilet would stop flushing properly until I bled it down and started again. So the problem may be something other than these toilet parts. In my case, I dried everything and patched the area with JBWeld.

**Q: do this item include the duckbill valve????**
A: Yes, the piece is a complete replacement, including the duckbill valve inside.

**Q: Will it fit the 501-A Series?**
A: Yes I searched this particular model and in the above description it says that it fits all models! This will fit your 501-A Series

**Q: Replaced this valve. New one has a slight leak coming from vent hole during refill. Should I disassemble like other reviewers have done?**
A: No need to remove, unscrew caps and check seal, reassemble and tighten firmly. Flush and loosen gently the horizontal nut (allowing a little seepage and then retighten. If that doesn't solve the problem, conside replacing the intake valve and possibly the flush valve. Sometimes new parts mixed with old do not function correctly, all work in unison, always best to replace all.

**Q: Should this replacement part increase the flush?**
A: I do not know the purpose of this upper supply part.  I replaced one because it was cracked and leaking.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ When your plumber tells you they will have to replace the whole unit, check this!

My parents had a plumber say they would likely have to order parts that would be a lot. Well, I couldn't believe that as it had just been working fine but was moved for some drywall work and put back. I had reset the tank before by shutting the incoming water off, flushing, etc and was able to get it going, so had some exposure to it. They said it was leaking, so I looked and it appeared to come from this supply valve. Apparently, this has a small rubber duckbill [Flushmate Duckbill Valve (Air inducer) - I may have been able to just replace it directly, too.] that may degrade over time. I ordered and replaced this easily and it worked fine. It did make a whistling noise for a bit, but pushing this assembly a little off line stopped it and it hasn't come back. The toilet is working fine and it has been several months. Next time, may just need to replace the duckbill. It looks to be the real wear item here.
