Review: Great shin guards - I bought these for Muay Thai. They fit around my legs and feet fine but between the bottom leg and front ankle where there’s no protection, it’s very uncomfortable when taking any steps. I’ll just deal with it and get some type of ankle wrap or cushion to help with that since I just bought these. **UPDATE So the seller reached out to me about the issues I had and offered to ship me another pair for free, just needed my size and consent. I decided to go a size down to see if it would fix any of the issues I was having and it completely did! For me going a size down was the right fit for me even though the first time I used their size chart (which I order a medium the first time). They feel perfectly fine when I take steps and fit nice! Really appreciated how the seller reached out to me. I can now give 5 stars, excellent customer service. ## Features - UPGRADED IMPACT DISPERSION With the revolutionary shin guards by RDX (approved by EMMAA, SMMAF, and FIGMMA), athletes training in various fields ranging from kickboxing to MMA and Muay Thai can work out comfortably. With the padded layer engaging in contact and diffusing the impact, the trainees get the chance to work for longer hours at honing their skills. - PADDING FOR SHIN CONDITIONING By combining EVA-Lution foam, Infused Shock Dispersion sheet, and Spongy Blacktop Fabric tightly behind the sturdy outer layer, the force of impact, from various repeated hits, is effectively dispersed by these Muay Thai Shin pads for Kickboxing. This allows the trainee athletes to pace their shin conditioning as they need. - STURDY MATERIALS FOR QUALITY Rigors of training demand that the materials used in the making of the shin pads are the absolute best, and that is what RDX prides itself on. Using sturdy Maya Hide leather along with nylon fabric on the inner side, these martial arts shin guards are designed to bear the brunt of extensive training in BJJ, Karate, and other similar sports. - SWEAT-FREE EXPERIENCE The technologically advanced QD-1 lining is used to create ventilation in these shin pads for MMA. This helps create a sweat-free experience for novice athletes and prevents the excessive accumulation of sweat to slip the pads down. - EASY AND LASTING UTILITY The Quick-EZ hook-and-loop closure straps, instep elasticated strap, and the industrial-grade stitching of the Muay Thai Shin Guards make them easy to wear as well as capable of withstanding the test of time. RDX prides itself on enhancing the user experience, and this pair of shin guards is no exception to the rule ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B011G4MIBW | | Backing Type | Foam | | Best Sellers Rank | #7,535 in Sports & Outdoors ( See Top 100 in Sports & Outdoors ) #6 in Martial Arts Shin Guards | | Brand | RDX | | Brand Name | RDX | | Closure Type | Hook and Loop | | Color | Black | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 3,873 Reviews | | Included Components | SHIN GUARD | | Item Dimensions L x W | 14.57"L x 9.06"W | | Item Type Name | SHIN GUARD | | Item Weight | 1.1 pounds | | Manufacturer | RDX | | Manufacturer Part Number | 5054421955055 | | Material | Leather | | Material Type | Leather | | Model Number | 5054421955055 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Product Style | Casual | | Size | Medium | | Sport | Kickboxing, Muay Thai, MMA Fighting, Sparring, Martial Arts | | Sport Type | Kickboxing, Muay Thai, MMA Fighting, Sparring, Martial Arts | | Style | Casual | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** RDX - **Color:** Black - **Size:** Medium - **Sport:** Kickboxing, Muay Thai, MMA Fighting, Sparring, Martial Arts - **Style:** Casual ## Images ![RDX Shin Guards Kickboxing Muay Thai, SATRA SMMAF Approved, Premium Maya Hide Leather, Leg Instep Protection Pads, MMA Martial Arts Kicking Sparring Training Gear, BJJ Karate Boxing Taekwondo, Black - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71qAmuIfDmL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: I'm 145lbs 5'4" female. What size should I get?** A: I'm 6'4" 225 lb. I think Medium would work. **Q: I have two boys one is 5"0 the other is 5"3. The taller one is skinny the shorter is not fat but thick. He is around 105 lbs. Would the small fit?** A: The small will fit, though these pads are a little to hard for my taste. I prefer "In Fight Style"They are considerably more expensive but in my opinion much better. **Q: I'm 150 pounds and 5'9" my calfs are 15inches what size should i get?** A: I'm 6'2" 220, my calf's are about 16" 1/2 inches. Now that being said. I had to buy the XL because the calf strap runs small, and I don't think I'm that big of a guy. The package says it will fit but does not. Now for comfort and protection with the right size I love them. I leave with minimal brusing. That is for the shins, now the toe guard it runs very large, I have a size 12 foot and it runs all the may up to my toes nails which cause significant irritations, while moving around on the mat. If I had it to do over again I would try to find some hyabusas or Venums in town and try them and then order them off line. These are just my opinion from using them. I do love my pads and I have gotten use to the toe friction. And I would consider buying again if the strap issues were addressed. **Q: What size should a 6 foot two person get** A: I'm 6'0" with longer legs than torso. I bought LARGE and think they will fit you just fine. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ worth the price *by M***R on August 3, 2026* good fit and quality straps, did not move like others after training for a while. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great shin guards *by A***R on October 23, 2025* I bought these for Muay Thai. The brand stands by their product and I feel that says a lot about the product. The straps are a good design. The padding is a good design. Threading can be an issue so look at that first. I honestly want to give this product 5 stars. Reason for one star is the threading all over the pads was falling apart. Worse unthreading was around d the straps. I only had it for 2 weeks and it was falling apart. I thought maybe it was the pair I bought so I returned and got another pair. Same issue with the second pair, unthreading all over. The pads and design are great but the threading is a major issue. ## Frequently Bought Together - RDX Shin Guards Kickboxing Muay Thai, SATRA SMMAF Approved, Premium Maya Hide Leather, Leg Instep Protection Pads, MMA Martial Arts Kicking Sparring Training Gear, BJJ Karate Boxing Taekwondo, Black - RDX Boxing Gloves, Pro Training Sparring, Maya Hide Leather, Muay Thai MMA Kickboxing, Men Women Adult, Heavy Punching Bag Focus Mitts Pads Workout, Ventilated Palm, Multi Layered, 8 10 12 14 16 18 Oz - Venum Challenger Mouthguard - Red/Black --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/19564441-rdx-shin-guards-kickboxing-muay-thai-satra-smmaf-approved-premium](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/19564441-rdx-shin-guards-kickboxing-muay-thai-satra-smmaf-approved-premium) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-09*
