Designed for universal fit, it requires no periodic re-torqueing, making it a durable, hassle-free upgrade for serious boaters. ## Description Every Rubex boat propeller has a rubber interchangeable hub system. It is designed to eliminate chatter and vibration that competitive hub systems are prone to. Being rubber, the Rubex hub has no plastics to deteriorate. It can deflect 10% for softer shifting and to reduce prop shaft shock when the propeller strikes a submerged object. The Rubex hub will not spin in the propeller. Each Rubex Hub Kit comes with the hardware needed to install the propeller on the prop shaft. Unlike competitive hubs, the prop nut does not require periodic re-torqueing on a Rubex propeller system. The Rubex HR4 propeller offers a great stern lift and acceleration, providing powerful thrust and very smooth performance. Review: The perfect Propeller! - I just got a 20 ft 2013 boat with a Mercruiser 4.3 MPI 220hp engine. It came with aluminum 4 blade P18 propeller. With these propeller at wide-open throttle engine was running at 5400 RPMs and 44 mph. When engine manufacturer recommends 4200-4800 RPMs at WOT for this engine. Decided to replace a propeller with this stainless steel 4 blade P19. Huge difference❗️ Looks awesome in the boat! Now at wide-open throttle engine is running way better at 4800 RPMs and 48+ mph, gets the boat on plane in 2-3 seconds, better speed control, also, at cruising speed of 30mph, engine is at 3200 RPMs instead of 4000 RPMs with the old propeller at the same speed, so I really think it’s going help with fuel economy as well.
