The box is a good size, not too small and not too big. It's perfect for me because I take some horse pills. I really need this case for the days when I run out of the house and forget to take my handful of pills (mostly vitamins and supplements) This is big enough to take my daily dose with me. The case opens easily and clicks shut. The click is important because it will look shut when it really isn't; that's the only negative I have for this pill case so far.I know it's hard to determine size by pictures, so I've included a picture with the pill box next to an egg. I figured everyone has a pretty good idea the size of a large egg. I also pictured the box open with fish oil supplements, these are usually (at least the ones I've seen) about the same size, HUGE. I was able to fit eight fish oil pills and secure the lid. I hope the pictures help.I received this product through a promotional discount in exchange for an honest review. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Short term use *by M***H on Reviewed in the United States on March 30, 2016* I just received this. It wasn't packed very well. In fact, the box looked like it had been opened and repacked. The outer case seems to be metal of some sort although I also thought it looked like plastic. The hinge and latch are metal. It's a good size and fits in the palm of your hand. Depending on the pill size, you could use this to carry a weeks worth of pills, maybe more. I'm hoping it won't open during travel.
