I have the green version. Some of the pictures I have seen made the text on the watch look visually overwhelming and showed seams in the case that did not look great. The version I have looks much better in person. The watch is very light. The band is curved like a G-Shock band to absorb impacts. The negatives of the band is that it is fairly rigid. I do not find it to be uncomfortable but it is not the nicest. I do believe the lugs are 18mm and that the band could be replaced easily with a variety of bands available. The watch wears well on my 6.5" wrist and is smaller than many of Casio's offerings. It is very legible and the light while being a single LED lights the screen well enough to be seen in the dark and can be adjusted from 1-3 seconds. It also contributes to the vintage appeal of the design. You get a 10 year battery life which is amazing. The watch is very full featured. It is a little harder to set up initially but there are some very good tutorials available and once it is set up it is pretty maintenance free. The fishing feature uses moon phases and location to predict when fish will be more active. I really do not fish often but for a watch with 100m water resistance, a 10 year battery, backlight, alarms, stopwatch, multiple time zones and moon phase sub $40 this is a great piece. Being able to see when the fish are hungry is a cool bonus and when you use the stopwatch the fish have a party on the dial. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fishing planner + Regular Watch *by on Reviewed in the United States May 14, 2026* Very nice watch I have a replacement nylon strap i changed it as soon as i got it and i think it looks great. This is definitely my daily watch, I plan on getting the analog version now.The fishing part of it is great because you can observe the moon phases of whichever days you want all the way to 2099, and in turn gives the best times to fish. You essentially can plan future trips with this watch but you need tweak the longitude settings when you first buy it.I also like how it not only has a stopwatch, but a countdown. I loved that. Great watch. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not a gimmick *by on Reviewed in the United States April 28, 2026* Fly fisherman and watch collector here and I received this watch as a gift. I wanted to hate it. I really did. But, apart from the band being less comfortable than it could be, the watch is great. The fish radar prediction function seems to be fairly accurate. I fish 3-4 times per week and I seem to have better days out when the watch says they’ll be good. I never wear it but I have it attached to my fishpond waist pack because as stated before the band is NOT comfortable. Still giving five stars though because a Casio will ALWAYS do what it is supposed to do.
