For official tournaments, you should get the DGT blue or red colored models. It’s a little more money (the blue one is what most kids at tournament have), but entirely worthy! It will have all the settings you need. And easy to program or switch modes. This one is super lite. It does count UP for other games, or if you’re practicing to take more time to think. I like that. I think it’s not very hardy for toting around. There is a small and inexpensive Leap brand that does have delay. I don’t own that one. But I know kids who do. I am not a fan of it being so small.
