These fasteners replace missing ones from pet carrier to make carrier more secure and they are not all metal which would be harder to get on and off or rustYour large size makes it easy to do - they fit and are not tinyMy vet office did not replace original screws/nuts on my carrier on one vet visit and so I needed more.
