One of my rubber feet fell off already after only a few months of normal use. Also, the trackpad is literally the worst thing I have ever used. It also seems to have trouble processing certain types of things... for example websites with lots of gifs, or mass copying in SketchUp. But perhaps that's more of a job for a Quattro, who knows. The battery drains a little faster than I'd like, and is non-removable. They've also put a warranty sticker over one of the screws on the back, which is just petty. Pros: - Minimalist appearance, prior versions were blinged out, this one is just black without a lot of flash - Powerful - I'm able to run new games like BF4 and Titan Fall at 1920x1080 on high settings without a problem (strangely, when I tried the old CoD:Black Ops, it was laggy). Between the Nvidia 870m, the i7, and the RAM it has remarkable power for an ultrabook. - Cooling - I was so concerned about this that I purchased this from a retail location instead of Amazon thinking I would likely have to return it. When running a game the fans kick in - but not too loud - and keep it steady at acceptable operating temperatures. The top of the laptop above the keyboard does get very hot, but this is typical for an ultrabook gaming machine. - Huge screen - it really feels like a desktop with this screen - Not too heavy - Great keyboard - love the steel series keyboard Cons: - Trackpad - one of the worst I've ever used. Does not track well, commonly does things I don't want it to do, and even when typing it will sometimes "kick in" and perform some annoying action. I don't know why MSI can't get this right. - Windows 8 - with the 8.1 plus the new update, I almost never even realize its 8 - it mostly operates like 7. But if you're going to have 8 on a laptop, you really need a touchscreen. Otherwise, just put 7 on the machine.
