## Description

The JBL GT-SUBBP12AM powered subwoofer pumps out lush, car-rocking bass through an updated design look. The patented Slipstream port design delivers deep bottom end while minimising turbulence. The Slipstream design is carefully optimised for the combination of woofer, amp and enclosure. Also included is the remote control for drive-time adjustments.

Review: Sounds good and an easy install for what you get. - I've purchased this for a Nissan Murano 2006. Installed in that pretty easily, took it out reinstalled it into a Acura MDX shortly thereafter for my daughter. Sounds pretty good for what it is could be a little bit cleaner but you know it's not expensive and it's an all-in-one. Shakes everything around it if you wanted to. Has a nice knob to turn that shaking everything around you function. I constantly have to yell at my daughter for her to turn it down as she's coming into the neighborhood. As I'm sure the neighbors could do without hearing her driving up and down the street. And not to mention thieves. It's definitely no 1,000 watt or better comp stereo piece. Which I do have those in my vehicles, and have installed since the teenager. The competitions the whole bit. And I would say for what I spent on this, it's plenty loud enough for a 16-year-old girl for the suburbs to be impressed. In fact when she gets in her mom's car that has no sub upgrade, she often complains and cries about having to drive in that car. LOL as for it being easy installed, I will be buying another one for my 14 year old daughter soon enough for her soon to be vehicle too. Double the sound.. can't wait..

**Q: Im new to all this so what else do I need to buy for this product or is everything in there and ready to install?**
A: Our JBL BassPro12 requires an 8-gauge amp wiring kit which is not included in the box. We suggest bringing your vehicle to a professional car audio shop to install this subwoofer to your vehicle.

**Q: What’s the difference between this and the gt base pro 12?**
A: Both units have a similar frequency response, amplifier power, and maximum wattage as written below. 
Frequency Response - 35-120Hz
Amplifier Power (RMS) - 150 watts
Maximum Wattage - 450 watts
The main difference is that JBL GT Bass Pro has RCA, Harness input, and a crossover point of 40-200Hz. JBL Bass Pro 12 on the other hand has RCA, speaker-level inputs, and a crossover point of 70-120Hz.

**Q: Will this fit under the rear seat of a 2020 Chevrolet Colorado?**
A: Our JBL BassPro12 has a width of 22-3/8", a height of 14-5/8", and a depth of 11-7/8". It is usually recommended to place the at the trunk of the vehicle as it will be too large to place it under the seat.

**Q: How does it not fit in my Subaru Legacy 2008 ? It said that it did**
A: Kindly check your vehicle if it will have space to fit the following dimensions of the subwoofer:

I installed a JBL SUBBP12AM 12” amplified subwoofer using an EFX PA8BX amp wiring kit and a Kicker 46KISLOC2 line output converter. For anyone with a non-Bose Mazda 6, this setup integrates cleanly with the factory head unit and provides a noticeable low-end improvement without replacing stock components. Mazda 6–specific install tip: Instead of removing door panels to verify speaker polarity, I tapped into the Tuner / Amp unit located to the right of the glovebox. I used an IBR68 tone generator along with the SpeakerPop iPhone app to confirm polarity. This avoided unnecessary trim removal and made the install quicker. Helpful YouTube searches that guided the process: • “2020 Mazda CX-5 Sub & Amp FULL INSTALL” • “How To Check Car Speaker Polarity Without Taking Your Door Panel Off” If you’re researching installs for a 2020 Mazda 6 without Bose, this approach works and saves time.
