Two awesome albums by one of the best, and most under appreciated, blues guitarists of all time. There are those who insist Eric Clapton copied his arrangement of Further On Up The Road from the version that appears on Live Stock (reportedly, Roy's producer gave Clapton a pre-release copy of the album on cassette, and Clapton sings the same verses as on this version, when he performs the song, a fact that's mentioned in the liner notes). If you love blues guitar, or any electric guitar playing, you owe to yourself to get familiar with these albums. This two-on-one CD also features great liner notes explaining the circumstances behind the recording of both albums and gives a lot of information concerning this part of Roy's career. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ great stuff! *by K***U on September 26, 2010* Just great music ! THe live stock is fantastic and a great showcase of Roy's talent and ability on the stage, captures the mood and sense really well. The studio album is a classic to me and I like all the songs in this while collection, hard to have a favorite as all so different.
