**Q: Can you tell me what type of wood it is made from?**
A: I would say it is a soft wood like a pine but with the size of the panels and the qty of panels really makes it pretty durable what i like about it is the unique carving which you would no doubt pay at least $400 at World Market or Pier 1

**Q: which is the length and which the height?**
A: 72 inches high 80 inches wide/length

**Q: Are there any additional supports needed? Say on carpet?  How wide is it with the bends needed for standing?**
A: I only use it as a headboard for a king size bed supported against a wall. It is not a flimsy piece but solid wood. I think with the least amount of bends you could cover about 70 to 72 inches of space and be sturdy. A larger angle obviously would make it even sturdier but cover less area.

**Q: is this screen opaque or can you see through it?**
A: It is not opaque, you can see through it if you're trying to. It has a beautiful design, however, and is substantially made, so it is a good "divider".
