With school age kids in the house we get hit with the gift of seasonal germs every single year. Ever since we made these vitamin drops part of our regular daily routine (about a year ago) we have significantly decreased both the number of colds coming into our house and the spread of illness if someone in the house gets sick. Obviously there are a lot of other pieces that contribute to a strong immune system, but this is an easy one to incorporate! My kids will take the mint flavor drops without any issue. There is no worry about needing to swallow a pill or stressing over the amount of sugar and artificial ingredients with this one. It's high quality and it works. I looked at a lot of different products and chose this one as well as one other. I have taken this for about a month as well as trying to get at least 10 minutes of midday sun as often as I can and I got retested and my level is up to 44. The drops are in olive oil, have the correct ratio of vitamin D3 to vitamin K2 and the taste is slightly peppermint. I would like to see this product without the peppermint but it's not enough to deter me from buying again as I feel this is a good product, best of it's kind actually. It works quite quickly to get those levels up and I take 3 drops a day in the morning with a small breakfast such as cereal and milk or buttered toast. I noticed while taking vitamin d you will be thirsty more often so increase water intake while using. This is a good thing as we all need hydration and it makes me want to drink water more.The only reason I gave only 4 stars is the vitamin K is from MK7, a fermented soy. Comments say it contains no soy but I thought MK7 was from soy? It would be a definite 5 star product if I find out I'm wrong about this! It may not be an issue with some but I try to avoid soy. Still, haven't noticed any strange effects from it, it just does what it says, brings levels up.Update: 9/21/17 I ordered the unflavored drops on my next order and either I got used to the flavored ones or I'm just not particularly liking the flavor of the unflavored ones but the minty ones are much better. My doctor recommended Vitamin D drops (store bought ones that you swallow) but after doing some research of my own I decided on a liquid form of Vitamin D with Vitamin K2 as both of these combined enhance the absorption of Vitamin D into your body. It comes in a cute little bottle and has a dropper which is easy to use. My doctor recommended I take 2,500 IU a day initially to get my Vitamin D levels up quickly. So I took one drop in the morning and one drop in the evening for the next several months. I never had any side effects from using these drops. I read that Vitamin D is also better absorbed with something fatty so I would squirt a drop on foods such as peanut butter, eggs or any type of meat we would have for dinner. I would always do this on my first bite of food as these drops have a minty taste but once I started eating the rest of my meal this minty taste would disappear. In May of 2016 my Vitamin D levels were at 82. This goes to show these drops really do work! I since reduced my intake to one drop a day and I am currently not adding any drops now that summer is in full force.
