I still have mine on the bottom left corner & put a finger in the strap & sit it basically in the palm of my hand. Worth it to me. It's tight at first but once you get your finger in it will be ok. Hope that helps .take care **Q: Will this work for a Z flip phone, need to bend in half to place in the middle of the back.** A: I would say no because the mounting strip is pretty thick and stiff. But you may be able to cut the mounting strip in half while leaving the elastic intact so you can place each half on either side of the phone without having to bend it. **Q: Is this holder magnetic?** A: No, it’s not. It attaches to the phone through a strong adhesive backing. It stays put and I love that it’s flat and not bulky. Also easy to slip my finger into it & securely hold my phone (especially when traveling). **Q: Does this work with the thin phone cover on?** A: It didn't stick to the cover that I had. I super glued the backplate to the cover but backplate didn't hold to the glue so I stuck the strap to the hardened glue and it's holding well. Lol. This one lasted a few days. The elastic is too tight on this one. I carefully applied the product to a new phone cover using alcohol to clean the surface first, and letting it dry. It seemed to stick well! After just a couple days use, it started to pull up.
