Review: Great purchase - We purchased this for our 2 1/2 year old and it fits him perfectly. He can reach the pedals with no problem (average sized kid). If I had one problem it is that the trailer has a small red "pin" to keep it attached to the tractor. With lots of play, the pin can shift from the locked position to unlocking itself and the trailer falls off. Therefore, this little pin can easily get lost. We chose to get the pedal powered tractor instead of a battery operated one to keep the kids active and in case the tractor accidentally got left out in the rain. I feel like this is a toy that we can store in the attic when he grows up and enjoy with our grandkids many, many, many years down the road!

**Q: How do you charge the battery?**

The John Deere Farm Tractor and Trailer, model number IGCD0522, is made as a pedal or chain driven unit. This unit is not motorized and therefore would not have a battery to recharge.

**Q: Only 1 wheel spins when you pedal- are both wheels supposed to spin when you pedal?**
A: Yes, both wheels are suppose to spin.

**Q: Our 23 month is not quite able to pedal. Can he use his feet to scoot around on this until he’s ready to peddle?**
A: The tractor is rated for 2-4 year old children.  If the child's feet would reach the floor, he may be able to scoot it around.

We purchased this for our 2 1/2 year old and it fits him perfectly. He can reach the pedals with no problem (average sized kid). If I had one problem it is that the trailer has a small red "pin" to keep it attached to the tractor. With lots of play, the pin can shift from the locked position to unlocking itself and the trailer falls off. Therefore, this little pin can easily get lost. We chose to get the pedal powered tractor instead of a battery operated one to keep the kids active and in case the tractor accidentally got left out in the rain. I feel like this is a toy that we can store in the attic when he grows up and enjoy with our grandkids many, many, many years down the road!

### ⭐ Absolute TRASH from John Deere/Peg Perego

Bought this for our son's birthday. It was his big surprise. He was surprised AT HOW AWFUL this is. Cheap plastic assembly that's supposed to just "snap" together, but needed tools and help from mom and dad's super glue to stay together. The big back wheel of the tractor (that was pre assembled so it wasn't us that screwed it up) won't even turn because it's too loose and gets stuck on the frame. The "trailer" is thin and wobbly so little man can barely pull a teddy bear with it and it's held to the tractor by a thin piece of removeable plastic that keeps popping out. He gave up on the trailer within minutes. The chain is too loose so the little man can only ride a few minutes before dad has to unscrew the bottom and rethread the chain. I would have paid double the price for a good quality toy that would last. Instead I threw away money on a cheap toy that's never going to be used. I bought from Peg Perego because I thought I could trust this brand. Never again!
