Does it go bad?** A: This tape is an excellent product. It provides a waterproof joint. In itself it does not have an adhesive side but sticks to itself when wrapped around an object. When wrapping stretch it to half the tape width & then overlay it. It has a long shelf life but doesn’t like very low temperatures. It has a backing layer to prevent it sticking to itself on the roll but this layer is difficult to remove at very low temperatures.
