We have had many boys (our own and visiting friends), ranging in ages from 6 to 14, spend HOURS making designs with these cool beads: designs from their favorite shows (Pokemon, Dragon Ball Z, etc.), Christmas ornaments, snowflakes, coasters, flags, animals, names, anything their creativity can think up!They are easy to iron, just make sure to iron from both sides, so the piece doesn't curl in. The paper in the kits lasts for a LONG time, but if you ever need a fresh piece, just use plain parchment paper from the kitchen.We love their $1 kits at Michael's with specific holiday themes. HOWEVER, BEWARE, not all those kits are made by Perler. Beads in the kits from other companies are of much inferior quality, we have found!
