DVD region switching is automatic, simply play the disc and the device with switch to the appropriate region. A: For some reason some sellers have listed non multi-region players onto this listing.
If you purchase from Multiregionmagic you will 100% get a multi-region unit.

**Q: does the remote have number buttons so I can directly access different tracks**
A: Yes the remote does have number keys, and unlike some Panasonic remotes it does have open and close buttons too.

**Q: Is there any DVDs it does not play.**
A: Not if they've been correctly mastered. I've yet to find an unreadable one. Of course, a very scratched DVD may ne unreadable by any DVD player. If the DVD is in a good condition I wouldn't imagine you'd have any problem.

I bought a series from the U.S. and my original Panasonic DVD player played every DVD except the last one. I bought this player hoping that it would play the DVD. Unfortunately, it had the same issue so I returned the DVD and bought a Sony player. The Sony player played the DVD with no issues.
