It repeats with varying degrees of sound quality. Sometimes misses the first word; sometimes gives true reproduction of voices, sometimes not so good. Auto shut off is too quick. If you don't talk to it almost continuously, it keeps shutting down, and you have to turn the switch off and back on. Wings are noisy while flapping, sometimes making it hard to hear it's voice. She really likes it when it responds to her but then it stops and she doesn't understand why. I thought it would allow me to get some chores done while the bird kept her occupied, but I have to stand by and keep turning it back on when it shuts off. It didn't cost that much. You get what you pay for.
