A beautiful true story of a man's kindness and love of the Savor. He was rich in money but it doesn't compare to his richness in spirit, kindness, love and help for his neighbors. Well done, accurate and quite entertaining. It deserves 5 stars and more.

What an amazing story! I named my child after this great man because I was so touched by this story years & years ago! This was the true story of John Tanner who was introduced to the Morman religion. He had large sores on his leg and the doctor said it had to be removed to save his life. He refused. The Mormans told him that God would heal his leg if he believed. Well he believed and threw away his crutches. Tanner was a very wealthy man; and this is the story of the monetary and personal lengths he went to to save the church from becoming bankrupt.
