I would recommend a XL if a 12 normally fits your son. **Q: What size does a small fit** A: 6 - 8 and 8 to 10 **Q: what size is large in numbers?** A: Sorry. I really don't know. I ordered my son size 10-12 (wanting a shirt that was equivalent to a youth medium) but I felt that the size 10-12 ran more like a youth xs or small. Hope that helps. **Q: Do the shirts feel like cotton** A: No, they feel silky ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ True to size, vibrant colors, soft *by A***N on July 14, 2026* Wash well, wear well, true to size. Bought both my kids these ( 1 in mens 1 in boys) both were great ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Quality, fit, and price: all good. *by A***R on April 2, 2026* Over all a great buy to bulk up a boys wardrobe. One shirt’s stitching around the neck came undone after only one or two uses, but the other 9 (I bought two packages) have held up well after many wears and washes (including going into the dryer). Fits well. Size small for my 7.5 year old, and Medium for my 10.5 year old. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good shirt, size runs small *by W***Y on August 19, 2025* A nice, thin, light shirt for summer. The sizing does run small. My son is 12 years old and the large was a little short. The xl was a better fit. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/185390008-5-pack-boys-dry-fit-t-shirts-athletic-short-sleeve](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/185390008-5-pack-boys-dry-fit-t-shirts-athletic-short-sleeve) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-22*
