The graph lines are different on each side. It wouldn't be an issue if the paper wasn't so thin. Seeing the lines from the other side of the graph paper is very distracting, especially when using the lines to make a drawing. With Mr Pen's pads, the graph lines match from side to side. I don't have to guess if I'm following the right set of graph lines. If you want or need good quality graph paper, try Mr Pen's. You will definitely notice the difference. However, it is noticeably thicker/heavier than standard (20#) printer/copier paper. I find that it will take gel, fountain, felt-tip (Flair), and rollerball pens without bleed-through or ghosting. On the other hand, Sharpie Markers bleed through significantly. The sheets do have a "quality" feel to them that sets them apart from standard printer paper.
