I’ve received lots of compliments on it. The top part is not attached to the bottom part so be careful about it coming off. I used the sticker included in the package and the top still came off. I think it happened when I was in a ride share and I didn’t notice until much later so it was too late to get it back. I think it came off because I had my AirPods clipped to my purse and it might have rubbed or got caught between the seatbelt and the seat or something (something that caused enough friction to pull it off). I reached out to the seller about getting a replacement top and they were very responsive and understanding and sent me a new one! While I still think they should add a little connector piece between the top and bottom, I’m giving this five stars because it was as described, fits as expected, and the seller was very responsive to my inquiry. Review: Don’t hesitate, buy it! (Just replace the carabiner) - Such a cute case! I knew when I saw it that I had to have it. Keeps the AirPod case protected and is a nod back to my childhood when things were simpler. Haha It is made of a fairly thick silicone and fits beautifully, no puckering or extra material. Easy to install. The top and bottom are separate, which I like since you won’t wind up with it breaking later. I’ve used it for about a month and throw it in my purse and use it daily. The clip is junk, but so far has held up to me beating it around every day. I plan on replacing it soon just for something more durable where I won’t have to worry about losing my $150+ AirPods. The portion where the key ring attaches is substantial. I don’t imagine it breaking anytime soon. ## Features - 【RETRO DESIGN】 Classic handheld game console design is compatible with AirPods and transforms it into something unique and adorable. - 【COMPATIBILITY】 Compatible with Apple AirPods 1 and 2. (Just replace the carabiner) *by A***R on March 6, 2020* Such a cute case! I knew when I saw it that I had to have it. Keeps the AirPod case protected and is a nod back to my childhood when things were simpler. Haha It is made of a fairly thick silicone and fits beautifully, no puckering or extra material. It has held up to being on my gym keychain, so it gets tossed around constantly. The top adhesive did wear off, causing the top to fall off from time to time, but adding a little extra double-sided tape worked like a charm. Even after so long, it still looks great, and I don't plan on replacing it anytime soon. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/184565558-elago-aw5-case-for-airpods-1-and-2](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/184565558-elago-aw5-case-for-airpods-1-and-2) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-20*
