After some investigation, realized that the problem was flat batteries🪫in the sending unit which is affixed on the garage door. Replaced flat batteries with genuine Garage Door Minder batteries (bought on Amazon). Problem solved. So, my current view of this product: Very Good. I no longer forget to close the garage door😎👌👍.
