Functions as expected and links to all the other devices in the system without issue. No subscription for email alerts ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy to fit alarms compatible with new Scottish regulations *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 21 September 2021* I purchased 3 smoke detectors and one heat alarm which interlink via a radio link. They have a 10 year non replaceable battery in line with Scottish regulations which come into force early 2022. It took me about 5 mins to put each one up and another couple of minutes to connect them all.I’m not a professional so I would rate them extremely easy to install - I attached via screws but you can use stickers. They are loud and all go off within a moment of one activating.Not cheap but these long life battery devices all seem to be quite expensive. Saves on decorating after hardwiring though.Would recommend. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very good, but only once you know the trick on how to test them properly! *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 3 February 2024* These are great, and I really want to give the 5*, but I can't - not quite.I've got three. They are relatively easy to install - just screw the base to the ceiling and clip in. Takes minutes. However, they essential function is to link them so they all alert together - that's what you pay the extra for the Pro version for. It took me a couple of hours of frustration and a call to their helpline to confirm that they were linked properly. The linking procedure seems fairly simple, but on testing them I got variable results - sometimes the other alarms would sound, sometimes not...The trick, it turns out, is a very subtly worded part of the manual. Once linked, when you test them, you need to just dab the button on one VERY briefly. If you do that then they will all sound the alarm. However, if you hold down the button for more than the briefest moment, the test applies only to that alarm and the others won't sound. Until you know this, testing them is darn near impossible.
