Review: Perfect kitchen accessory! - I bought this for my daughter since she’s getting a little older now and is very much interested in helping cook. (She’s 2 1/2) This has already become one of her absolute favorite toys. The metal organizer it comes with keeps all of the items together and looks super cute. The ketchup and mustard come with a string in the spout so it “squirts” out for cooking. The salt and pepper look very realistic and sounds like an actual shaker even though the tops only have the illusion of holes so no mess! They are her favorite parts. Even the hot sauce appears to have liquid in it that moves around when you play with it. I think kids of various ages would love this and it’s decently cheap. It’s very much worth the money and I highly recommend. The string never actually leaves the bottle. **Q: How does the salt and pepper "shake?" Does it actually come out of the shaker? I have a child under 3 years old.** A: Hi there! The salt and pepper shake inside their containers, they do not come out. Please don't hesitate to call us at 800-284-3948 if you have any questions at all! Thanks! Chelsea **Q: What is the age for this set?** A: My son got this for his first birthday and he still plays with it every day. I also have an 8 year old who plays in his kitchen with him and she loves it. It's seriously the best condiment set I've ever found. **Q: On the hot sauce is it liquid or a red coating on the inside of the bottle? One review says the hot sauce goes away over time.** A: I’ve had this set since Christmas 2020 and the hot sauce is just as full as it was upon arrival. It has never “went away” ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect kitchen accessory! *by A***R on July 17, 2022* I bought this for my daughter since she’s getting a little older now and is very much interested in helping cook. I could have gotten something similar for a lower price but after handling the items myself, I'm glad I spent a bit more on these. They're much better quality than your average play food which often feels like cheap plastic. I think this set will hold up very well over time. The little details really make this stand out over others. The hot sauce actually has liquid in it, the little grains of salt and pepper move around and make a pleasing sound when shaken, and the ketchup and mustard have colored yarn that comes out of the top when you squeeze them. The cute caddy they come in is icing on the cake and makes for easy transport for taking his diner on the go. This is the second Melissa and Doug toy I've gotten him and both have been a hit with him, his mother, and his jealous friends. I'd absolutely buy more of their products and I think they're worth paying a little more for the quality and creativity they have. ## Frequently Bought Together - Melissa & Doug Condiments Set (6 pcs) - Play Food, Stainless Steel Caddy - Melissa & Doug Tip & Sip Toy Juice Bottles and Activity Card (6 Pcs) Pretend Play Food Set, Play Kitchen Food For Ages 3+ - Melissa & Doug Let's Play House!
